- What is CIPRA?
- CIPRA is a data gathering committee of the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA). CIPRA's mission is to collect, compile and disseminate liability, workers compensation and other risk management related information for the benefit of public agencies.
- What does CIPRA give its members?
- CAJPA and PARMA members are given access to compSTATS, receive the annual report Compilation of Workers Compensation Data of California JPA and Public Entities and receive reports generated from PRDP's Data Exchange.
- How do I join?
- CIPRA is no longer an independent non-profit corporation but a data gathering committee. To obtain CIPRA reports and compSTATS you must be a CAJPA or PARMA member. Contact information:

- What is compSTATS?
- compSTATS is an online workers compensation benchmarking application that includes comparative claims information of over 450 self-insured public agencies in California. Users can compare loss rates, incident rates, costs per claim and more by generating standard or custom reports.
- How do I get a username / password?
- CAJPA and PARMA members have free access to compSTATS. You may obtain a password by contacting one of the following:

- Where does the compSTATS data come from?
- The data in compSTATS comes from the annual reports that California's self-insured public entities are required to turn in every October to the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of Self-Insurance Plans. To view the form click here.
- Where does the compSTATS data come from??
- Historically, CIPRA receives copies of the reports from the Department of Industrial Relations by January. It takes about a month to data enter the reports in a database, perform data integrity checks and then upload to the compSTATS website.
